Backcountry BlendCoffee Where the Pavement Ends • Three Origins • Built for the Thermos
Some coffee is meant for a quiet tasting room. This one is meant for the drive in the dark, the cold blind, and the camp stove at first light. Backcountry Blend brings together three origins, Brazil, Burundi, and Sumatra, in a [medium-dark] roast built to stay bold from the first pour to the last cup in the thermos.
Tasting NotesDark chocolate and toasted nut open the cup, with a deep, steady sweetness underneath. A touch of dark berry brightens the middle, and the finish is full-bodied, earthy, and warm. It’s the kind of cup that still tastes right when it’s been riding in the truck for an hour.
Why We Love ItEach origin has a job. Brazil lays the smooth, chocolatey, nutty foundation. Burundi adds a lift of red fruit so the cup never goes flat. Sumatra brings the heavy body and earthy depth that make it hold up in a percolator, a French press, or a battered camp pot. Farm-sourced and roasted in small batches for the people who work the land and chase first light.
Roast: [Medium-Dark] • Best for: Thermos, percolator, French press, drip • Size: 12 oz whole bean / ground
