Ethiopia Guji Natural

Birthplace of Coffee • Highland Grown • Single Origin

Deep in the highlands of southern Ethiopia, where coffee was first discovered centuries ago, this coffee carries the legacy of its birthplace in every sip. Grown between 1,700–2,200 meters in the Yirgacheffe region, the arabica trees thrive in rich soil and high-altitude air, producing beans of exceptional complexity.

Tasting Notes

Floral and fragrant from the first pour, with jasmine and bergamot leading the way. Bright notes of lemon and blueberry dance across the palate, followed by a delicate honeyed sweetness. The finish is light, tea-like, and remarkably clean — the kind of cup that reveals something new with every sip.

Why We Love It

Ethiopia is the genetic home of coffee, and it shows. Many of the trees here grow wild or semi-wild, tended by smallholder farmers using techniques passed down through generations. This lot is naturally processed, meaning the cherries dry whole in the sun — a traditional method that intensifies the fruit-forward sweetness this region is famous for.
